by declaring myself nonsharing, i am not claiming that nobody else can yume that character or that i can possess them. i simply do not want to interact with other yumes of that character for my own mental health.
also, i wrote all the descriptions myself!

Mr. System, also known by fans as Mr. Steal Your Soul or Nintendo Entertainment System, is a commercial mascot from a series of ads created by Mattel and distributed in Australia for the promotion of the Nintendo Entertainment System console in 1985. The theme of these ads was that characters such as Mr. System would challenge players and claimed "You Cannot Beat Us".

Later ads showed children beating the games, leading to Mr. System expressing anger and ensuing various shenanigans, such as summoning objects, characters, or other phenomena from the game into the real world as retaliation.
Mr. System was not given any spotlight after this series of ads, and fans have filled in the blanks over the years, from framing him as scary and demonic due to the Angry Video Game Nerd's reaction in a video, to portraying him as a powerful yet playful entity in the Friday Night Funkin' mod Mario's Madness V2.
My interpretation of him is completely of my own and uses content from the original ads, the mod, and my own ideas. In my yumeship, a college student named Stripe falls victim to Ultra M's cartridge and is pulled into the world, but Mr. System helps them escape and eventually defeat M once and for all.

Detective Thomas Anderson was once revered as the greatest private detective in Los Angeles. His crown jewel case was that of 'The V Killer', an unknown and elusive serial killer who plagued the streets of the city for years. The man's background as a contortionist and his unassuming appearance played significant role in his evasiveness from capture.

The case came to an accidentally bloody end in 1995 at the first Electronic Entertainment Expo, where the detective cornered this murderer and was forced to shoot him after an attempted attack. This incident plagued Anderson for the rest of his life both mentally and physically, as The V Killer came back as a ghost attached to the Virtual Boy, the console featured in the expo booth he died in, and sought revenge against the man who put him in his grave.
While I interpret Anderson very closely to canon, I enjoy writing various stories where he is happier. In my yumeship lore, Anderson's former partner and forensic analyst Kit Wells comes back as a ghost after falling victim to The V Killer, and together they pursue justice against him even after he comes back from the dead.

Lord X is an unknown entity from the "Void" possessing his own parallel world disguised as the world of Sonic the Hedgehog. Using the guise of a video game to lure people into his world, he dons the face of the game's titular protagonist and has the player control the unfortunate souls already in his grasp before they too fall victim to his trap. In his world, everyone gets to play forever...

It's a bit hard to describe Lord X here. As an official writer for the character, I don't want to give too much away! I'm honored to work on his official lore even as a developer with a smaller part to play.
My yumeship introduces a character only known as "TD", using the appearance of Tails Doll from Sonic R. Their intentions are unknown, but somehow, they found Lord X's world and find him much more fun than his games. (Please don't mistake my yumeship as canon to PC Port or influential on anything official!)

When "Man", whoever he was, was sucked into a warp pipe hidden within his apartment's own bathtub, he didn't quite make it after the long fall into the Mushroom Kingdom. Out of desperation, the toads who found him attempted to revive him using a Starman powerup, but the process went awry, transforming his body using the hate stored away in his head and heart.

What was born afterwards was Starman, the soul of the power up now piloting a freshly transformed body full of fourth-wall breaking and cartoon shenanigans. Making himself at home, he overthrew the King Koopa and took his place in sowing carnage across the land. What he doesn't know is that he's always fated to lose against his arch rivals, the Mario Brothers, who he believes sabotaged his business as a carpenter while the three were still in the real world. Eventually, he also created Patch, a robotic assistant with a massive grudge against her creator and the certain mushroom princess that she resembles.
I portray my yumeship through my OC Mystery, who is largely inspired by me and pretty close to being a self-insert already. After being kidnapped by King Koopa and falling through the warp zone, they gained powers tied to it and a mangled appearance. Mystery eventually returned to their home universe to find Starman upheaving the Koopa tyranny, and decided to tag along in his adventures as a lookout, spy, and general lackey.

OTHER FAVORITES

I don't yume these characters (though maybe I'm considering it in a particular case or two), but they are very dear to me! I don't have any boundaries about these characters.
